Not every tenant wants, or can afford to rent an entire unit. Many students, young workers and those who have just moved to the city only need one room in a shared unit, with a budget far lower than renting an entire house/apartment. Until now, every rental listing on Hartanah Bumiputera has only represented a full unit, with no way to show that actually only one room is being offered. StepWhat happens
1. Create/edit rental listingOn the New Listing or Edit Listing form, the Rental section now has a checkbox 🚪 "Room Only"
2. Specify roomNumber of rooms available now & total number of rooms in the unit (eg: 1 out of 3 rooms)
3. Submit listingThe 🚪 Room Only badge is displayed on the listing card & details page, along with the number of rooms
4. Tenant filters searchOn the Find Property page (type: Rent), tick the 🚪 Room Only box to show only shared room listings


For Agents & Owners

The "Bilik Sahaja" (Room Only) checkbox is only visible on Rent listings; it is not applicable to Sale, Auction, or New Development listings. After checking the box, two additional fields appear: the number of rooms currently available, and the total number of rooms in the unit. Both fields are optional; if not specified, the badge will still be displayed without numbers.


ℹ️ Technical Note: This limit is enforced on the server, not just hidden on the form. Even if someone tries to submit data directly without using the form, Sale/Auction/New Development listings will never be marked as Room Only.


For Potential Tenants

If your budget does not cover the entire unit, or if you prefer to live with other tenants, check the 🚪 Room Only box while searching on Find Property (select type: Rent first). Only shared room listings will be displayed, so you no longer need to read through each listing description one by one to determine whether it is a full unit or a room only.
